What is Product Design?
Product Design (UI/UX) is like being the architect and interior designer of software applications and websites.
Imagine you’re building a house.
The architect (UX Designer) figures out the layout, making sure it’s functional and easy to navigate. They consider how people will live in the space and make it as comfortable as possible.
The interior designer (UI Designer) focuses on the aesthetics, choosing colours, furniture, and decorations to create a beautiful and inviting atmosphere.
A product designer combines both roles to create digital products that are not only visually appealing but also user-friendly and efficient. It’s about understanding people’s needs and creating solutions that make their lives easier and more enjoyable.
As a UI/UX designer, you’ll be responsible for creating the look and feel of products (UI), and ensuring that they are easy and enjoyable to use (UX). This involves everything from designing the layout of a website or software application, to figuring out how users will interact with it.
